Christy Hix

Christy Hix is the most recent attorney named partner at Harrison Davis Morrison Jones. Since joining in December 2018, Christy has established herself as a distinguished trial lawyer with a proven track record of success. Her exceptional legal acumen, steadfast dedication to clients, and pivotal contributions to the firm have earned her this well-deserved recognition.

Christy has been instrumental in achieving justice for families and individuals in high-stakes litigation. She has represented clients in complex and emotionally charged cases, including:

• Advocating for the family of an individual who tragically lost his life in a fire caused by a product defect in an air purifier;
• Representing the families of three individuals killed in a propane gas explosion;
• Assisting the family of a law enforcement officer who lost her life in a wildfire, where Christy collaborated with partners Bryan Harrison, Steve Harrison, and Zona Jones to reach a favorable resolution; and
• Managing numerous 18-wheeler accident cases involving fatalities and catastrophic injuries.

Known as a go-to resource for complex legal research and motion practice, Christy has successfully developed innovative legal arguments and crafted compelling trial briefs. Indeed, her briefs have played a critical role in defeating motions for summary judgment, limiting or excluding opposing experts, and securing favorable outcomes for clients.

Christy graduated with a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University in 2013 and earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2016. During her time at Baylor and after she graduated, she demonstrated a commitment to the development of young trial attorneys by coaching moot court teams and assisting with the Baylor Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition. Since joining Harrison Davis Morrison Jones, Christy has become an indispensable member of the team, combining her meticulous attention to detail with her ability to navigate even the most challenging cases.

Christy is married to Will Hix, a felony prosecutor for the McLennan County District Attorney, and they have two young children.
