HDSM Trial Lawyers - Justice for YOU

Working for Our Clients & Our Community

The attorneys and staff at Harrison Davis Steakley Morrison, P.C., are dedicated to helping our clients recover and rebuild their lives. Our lawyers and staff work closely with clients in order to achieve the best possible results in each and every case.

Our lawyers have distinguished themselves as exceptionally creative and sophisticated civil trial lawyers. Our attorneys have served on the Supreme Court of Texas; won the largest jury verdict in the history of McLennan County, Texas, as of that date; helped win what has been reported as the first verdict in the country against motor coach bus manufacturers for failure to provide passenger seat belts; and have been heavily involved in litigation concerning many toxic and defective products.

Harrison Davis Steakley Morrison, P.C. attorneys and staff adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and are committed to delivering outstanding professional services to our clients.  The firm is uniquely adapted to meet the needs of our clients by maintaining on staff a legal assistant with nursing background, a licensed private investigator and an IT specialist. Cecilia Maricle, a legal assistant was a licensed nurse, assists the attorneys with reviewing medical records of our clients, and is invaluable in efficiently and thoroughly preparing our attorneys for depositions and trial. John Bays is our private investigator. Prior to joining the firm, John worked as an insurance adjuster for over 20 years. Our clients benefit from John’s knowledge of the ins and outs of insurance companies and is extremely well-equipped to assist the attorneys in reaching favorable outcomes when dealing with insurance companies. He also works with our clients to secure evidence from across the state and around the nation, investigates the parties responsible for our clients’ injuries, and meets regularly with our attorneys to keep them informed of developments in our clients’ cases. Michelle Hadley maintains our in-house technology. Michelle works closely with each attorney to personalize our clients and the facts of our cases to judges and juries through advanced software programs, as well as ensuring the firm stays on the cutting-edge of technological advancements.

We represent most clients on a contingent fee basis. This means that legal fees are paid by the client only if a recovery is made. Then a fee is paid based upon a percentage of the recovery. Also, under a contingent fee contract, we advance all costs of the litigation which are repaid only if there is a recovery. So a client has no fees or cost of his litigation unless there is a recovery.
