For more than 35 years, Billy Davis has successfully represented both business and individual clients in various business litigation, product liability, and mass tort individual and multiparty litigation matters. A detail-oriented, creative, and resourceful litigator, Billy is driven by tough fights and by protecting the rights of his clients.

 

With a unique background in transactional law, Billy has used his understanding of corporate needs and other financial matters in representing his clients’ interests in business litigation, product liability, and mass tort cases. Billy uses his numerous skills and talents to successfully negotiate and structure complex settlements in the firm’s litigation. A founding partner of Harrison Davis Steakley Morrison, P. C., he is the firm’s point lawyer in analyzing and structuring settlement proposals and in the administration of the firm’s settlements.

 

An honorable and caring lawyer, Billy partners with his clients to best represent their interests. He believes being responsive at all times is critical to his relationship with his clients and always keep them appraised of what is happening in their case.

 

In addition to caring for his clients, Billy has a long track record of helping the people of Waco, the community he was born and raised in. One of the four founders of the Waco Community Development Corporation, an organization devoted to revitalizing inner city neighborhoods, Billy has played a critical role in the creation of  millions of dollars of lower income housing built in Waco in the past five years. Billy also serves as a trustee for the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco and has served as one of the founding directors of the Special Wish Foundation of McLennan County, Texas.

 

His longstanding commitment to his community earned Billy the 2005 Philanthropist of the Year award by Mission Waco. Billy has an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating based on attorney peer review of an attorney’s professional competence, experience and ethics.
